    This item is an antique German 1934 'Tag Der Albeit' (Day of Work) bronze tin badge (Weight: 9.2g)


    The badge is used but overall is in very good condition considering its age but shows signs of ageing and wear on the rear, which can be seen in the pictures listed


    The badge commemorates the German labour day on May 1st 1934 and is a circular bronze coloured badge with a metal pin on the rear


    At the top in the centre is an embossed head of a man in full face


    The lower section of the badge is an embossed design of a sledge hammer behind the wing of an eagle, which is holding in its claws a wreath with a swastika in the centre and on the front (facing) right side behind the eagle's other wing is a sickle


    German text 'Tag Der Arbeit' is embossed around the border at the upper left and right, with the year 1934 at the bottom


    On the back there is a pin clasp attached with solder


    The badge measures 3.6cm in diameter with a depth of 2mm (5mm depth including pin)
